New board needed

Hello,

my old Board/ CPU is dead and so I need a new one.
My old Board was mini-ITX with 7 SATA connectors. Now I found 2 possible Boards for me

ASRock - C3758D4I-4L
SuperMicro - A2SDi-8C-HLN4F

Any preferences for one of them or k

There is not much to chose from between these two siblings. Maybe you should consider buying a variant with on-board 10 GbE, as adding it later on would be more expensive. Otherwise, pick the one that is cheapest or most readily available.

ObiTobi, which did you end up with? My C2750D4I just died in my FreeNAS Mini so I’m looking for a mini-itx replacement to drop in. Looks like the C3758 is 20% cheaper at the moment. Either requires an upgrade to DDR4 RAM - any other considerations?
