Network Performance with Truenas

Hi

I'm hoping someone can assist me with the network speed issues I'm currently experiencing - I have two servers connected via a 10GB switch

One server is running Unraid and the other Truenas Core

I've set a rsynch batch running in unraid to copy over to the Truenas server as a backup - Truenas recognizes the card as 10Gbase-SR

My issue is the speed, nothing much going on in the network and the transfer is running at 8 - 10 MiB/s which is really disappointing after upgrading my network

Are there any settings I can review to check or improve whats going on ?'

Thanks in anticipation

Ian

I noticed replication between TrueNAS (or FreeNAS) boxes was on the slow side, but then discovered that it can use netcat; which greatly improves performance. In your situation, perhaps consider if you're using encryption as that will also cause it to slow down; create a dedicated replication vlan and not worry about the traffic being encrypted ;)
