Multiple LXC on spinning disks

I have 4 Proxmox servers with ~30 LXC containers that I use for various testing...most of these LXC containers have same distribution release (cloned) with minor changes as far as installed software. If I move these LXC containers to NFS share on Truenas w/ 256GB of memory would Truenas cache the block sizes into memory for the same files that are accessed across all 30 LXC containers (IE...if I have the same set of files being accessed repeatedly from all LXC's)?

I don't plan to use deduplication....non-ssd disks are cheap and I'd rather use the available system memory for L1Arc.

Thanks

If TrueNAS on bare metal:
If it's as VM (you also posted in the wrong section):
Tell me if I misunderstood something.

AFAIK if you do not use deduplication it will dot do anything smart with block checksums, etc. Why do you assume it will? And if you use encryption all blocks will be unique anyway i think.

But i will follow this thread.

TrueNAS is on bare metal. All VM's will be connecting over NFS shares.

I didn't assume. I guess the better question is IF I use deduplication would it cache the blocks for the deduplicated files across all 30 LXC containers?
