When maintenance is needed on one or more nodes, what is needed? For example, does one have to put the volume in a stopped stated and, if so, how does one do that?

No, maintaining a single state should not disrupt the clustered volume.. there is redundancy at the node level if there are 3 or more nodes

Thank you. When doing maintenance on all the nodes at once, what is the process? For example, if moving the SCALE nodes from one datacenter to another, does one of the steps involve stopping the volume? Assuming yes, is it via GUI or cmd line? Another example is if I see that my energy redundancy is ending (generator running out of gas, UPS batteries very low, etc.). What do I do?

Once two nodes have stopped the cluster volume will stop if redundancy=1.
