I've read that most M1015 cards being sold as new from Chinese eBay sellers are fakes. That's not to say they wouldn't normally work similarly to a legit card, but quality control is probably lacking.

Its probably the cables though. They could be reverse-breakout, even though they say they aren't. Or they could just be fake cables.

Reverse breakout cables unfortunately are visually the same, and it'd be an honest mistake to send the wrong type.

I bought 4 minisas cables of ebay. NONE of them worked. In the end I actually opened them up, and they weren't even wired with the right number of conductors! Not even wrong, just a scam.

Anyway. its probably the cable. There's no real way to test that I know of, except suggesting you purchase another one from a reputable store/site, rather than ebay and if they work, there ya go.

If not, then perhaps you have a fake M1015?

Yes, I know many of the m1015 cards are fake but I took a chance.

I hope it is the cables. Do you know a reputable site that sell good cables (reasonably priced)
