Issue with FreeNAS-11.1-U6 and Network Scanner running XP Embedded

I just updated to FreeNAS-11.1-U6 and all of a sudden my network scanners are no longer able to write to any SMB shares.

Some notes

• Verified that NTMLv1 auth is enabled
• Verified that the user account being used has write permissions

The only change recently has been an upgrade in FreeNas. Did something break in the backwards compatibility?

Note: I know that Windows XP embedded is VERY old however there isn't anything I can do to change as this is a hardware device that doesn't have an upgrade option.
