Dear All,

I have the same problem in Truenas 12 RC1 and release.
Slow performance on SMB (400 megabyte per sec in Freenas 11.5 vs 125 megabyte per sec in Truenas 12 RC1 and Release)
Slow performance on Iscsi (1000 megabyte per sec in Freenas 11.5 vs 66 megabyte per sec in Truanas 12 RC1 and Release)

I was hopeful that this would be fixed in Release as everyone was telling me Iscsi was sort of broken in RC1.

I didn't update the ZFS feature set so i can return to Freenas 11.5.

Using Intel X550 10 Gbe 9000 jumbro frames and a Intel 216 1gbe.

For the iscsi and SMB i use the 10Gbe ip.

So i think i should create a ticket or can i do something about it?

We should investigate this for sure. Can you make a ticket and provide a debug? We'll need to look at where the problem is, ZFS, Network, etc.

Could you try and disable hardware acceleration for all network interfaces involved? There have been quite some regressions in FreeBSD 12 and the shift to "everything iflib".

@mauritsl I reported something very similar over a month ago. You can see my ticket here: https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-107593

Tried disabling hardware acceleration. No effect.

I have two systems. One uses Chelsio T520 and the other Intel X550. Seems to affect both.
