Can anyone help with this arch-anywhere install? I am not sure its the same problem as the op is talking about but I don't know enough to know for sure. I am using this iso https://arch-anywhere.org/# which lets me enable uefi and then choose either grub or systemd or syslinux as the bootloader. I have tried with uefi enabled and disabled and tried all of the bootloader options and always end up in the same state (see gif). after the install I can chroot into the installed os console and see my users home directory and navigate around etc but when I reboot the same thing always happens just a blinking cursor. Any ideas?

Is the GIF/Vid before or after installation?

I have just added a new VM with the default devices for NIC and VNC (changed the port from 0 to 5910 for VNC) and then added a new ACHI disk which points to a predefined Dataset of 32Gb in size and added a CDROM pointing to the ArchAnywhere.iso located within my main NAS Dataset and I get the install script, screenshot below.

It is post installation, same results regardless of weather I enable or disable uefi or which bootloader I choose during the installation

edit: also at the end of the installation it asks you if you want to chroot into the new install, I am able to do this and explore the install normally. Its when I reboot that this occurs

I followed the install script, installed a few extra programs and it booted to command line, I expected a GUI but still, no looping.

May I ask what you set as the memory setting for the VM?

2048. it dosnt really loop, that might be just the gif looping it just stops at the blank screen with the blinking cursor and hangs there
