Hi All,

I am trying to install various varients of ArchLinux in a bhyve VM, but am having great difficulties ..
I created the VM with the GUI and attached a zvol as per the instructions, also a CDROM pointing to the ISO I am installing etc

With "anarchy" install, I can boot the install ISO fine, and complete the install to the zvol drive, but when I reboot I get following error ... see screenshot.
I try to install other Arch varients like antergos and artixbang but I can't even boot the installer .... same sort of error ..

I am tried all sorts of UEFI non-UEFI boot combinations, to no avail.

Any suggestions?

That was not the issue unfortunately ... Anarchy had already the correct name for the /boot.EFI/boot file .... so still at a loss as to why it won't boot.

I did try a Ubuntu server install and that booted fine .. but would really like to get Arch up and running

May want to head over to the Arch forums then and rack their brains. It is something they don't have just right that is probably causing the issue.
