Hi.

I successfully created VM for test with UI, but i can't install OS (Win 7/8.1/10) via VNC. I added ZVOL to DISK and install.ISO to CDROM. I trying both settings for boot UEFI and UEFI-CSM, but i can't boot from ISO. What i must change or set to start normal instalation like from BIOS on VM?

From console:
grep VT-x /var/run/dmesg.boot
VT-x: PAT,HLT,MTF,PAUSE,EPT,UG,VPID is suported

Thanks for help.

I can only confirm for Windows 10 the following method:
Boot Method: UEFI
Devices -> VNC -> Wait to boot: Checked

When you connect via VNC the system will start booting, a message will appear to press any key to install from CD-ROM, if you don't press a key, it will go to the UEFI Shell.

I kept expecting it to boot to CD without any key press when I was doing it. I learnt my lesson about reading the messages displayed on screen.

I hope this helps

I know this is fundamental, but check the permissions on your install.ISO file. The owner should be root:wheel:

root@server:/ # chown root:wheel /path/to/file/install.ISO
