Installation stuck at menu

Hello,

I'm trying to install FreeNAS via ISO over a KVM and it boots correctly with no errors and then comes to the console menu. I hit enter for Install/Upgrade and the screen changes as if its going to continue but the menu comes back up. All other options are working fine.

I have an Areca 1280 24 Port RAID card set in JBOD mode.

Any ideas?

My mistake, it's actually an Adaptec 51645, I noticed that once the drives are JBOD'd you need to "Morph" the drives into simple volumes. However, one drive is showing up as unknown.

You need to read the manual bro. RAID controller (and especially Adaptec) are terrible for FreeNAS.
