Installation screen corrupt and unreadable

Hi,
I am doing a first time install of Freenas and booted from usb and the grub menu loaded and I could read the freenas installer menu ok. I then hit enter to proceed with the install and the screen is unreadable (see attached screen shot), any idea how to correct this? Graphics card is a Connect 3D X300 SE 128mb PCIe card

Are you booting BIOS or UEFI? I've seen this in the past when booting UEFI and booting BIOS typically fixes the issue.
