Did the file exist at the time of the last snapshot? If not, you can't get it back. If so, you can restore it from the last snapshot. Do you have SMB shares? There's a thread about accessing snapshots via SMB, otherwise I think command line is your only choice.

I can know who you delete?
I understand that you are new to the forum however in order for anyone to provide you good answers and to possibly solve your problem you need to read the forum rules, provide details of your system if it's relevant, and provide good details of the problem. Based on the way you are typing I would guess that English is not your primary language. Try to use a simple language translator from your native language to English. If English is your language then you need to slow down and create comprehensive sentences. We truly do want to help but we need clarity.

Unfortunately your file may be gone unless you have it backed up elsewhere.

It really is hard to understand what you're saying, but it sounds like this was the sequence of events:
  • You took a snapshot
  • You created a file
  • You deleted that file
  • You haven't made any other backups
  • There are no snapshots between creating the file and deleting the file
  • And now you want that file back
Is that right? Because if so, I'm afraid you're out of luck--FreeNAS doesn't have any kind of trash bin other than what snapshots provide. If that isn't what happened, you're going to need to explain in a lot more detail what's going on for any of us to have any chance of helping you.

Desculpe pela falta de detalhes, e obrigado pela ajuda.

Existe a possibilidade de sobrescrever arquivos?

Thanks, how do you stop overwriting? I did not create any script
You do not. Once the space has been marked as unused then it is available for data to be written. FreeNAS does not overwrite the data with the intention of wiping the data, that is something different.

If the data in question is very important then I'd shut down FreeNAS and contact a data recover service. They MIGHT be able to recover the data.

recover freenass file
Depending on your pool's redundancy type/setup you may be able to recover some files using PhotoRecWin or similar software.

It may not always be possible but I'm not sure...

Is there a place where I see all the snapshots saved?

Thats an interesting thought, will PhotoRec work on ZFS? Everything I've read would suggest that 'normal' recovery tools wont work on ZFS

Run zfs list -t snapshot or dive into a hidden subdirectory named .zfs.

I know little about it, too. If a file is striped then maybe a half of it can be recovered. If it is mirrored then maybe the whole of it. If some other redundancy applies - then I don't know.

Yes, they'll list in the web GUI. Where will depend on which version of FreeNAS you're using, which you should have told us in your first post, but didn't, so the best I can tell you is to RTFM for your version to find out where they're listed.

Look, you're going to need to explain yourself in a lot more detail if you want any help. Your desperation is your problem, not ours, but if you can't or won't explain in detail what's going on and what you're trying to accomplish, there's no way we can help you. And the game of 20 questions is getting frustrating. The second post in this thread gives you a link to the forum rules (which you said you read and agreed to when you joined yesterday). Read them. Follow them. Give the information they ask for.

Also: why are you snapshotting so infrequently? Snapshots are time and space efficient, you could/should snapshot more like hourly, not monthly.
