Hi,

I 'am a newby FreeNAS user.

I am installing the latest stable version of FreeNAS (11.0-U1). I made all the necessary settings and was already using an NFS share.

But, after configure iSCSI (http://doc.freenas.org/11/sharing.html#block-iscsi), I restart the system, but don't load anymore.

The title message appears and the machine restarts:
GRUB Loading.
Welcome to GRUB!

The installation of FreeNAS is on an 8GB USB Stick.

My Specs:
Intel Server S1200SPS
Pentium G4560
8 GB DDR4 ECC UDIMM
1 USB Stick 8GB
4 WD RED 3TB

Weird timing for the boot device to fail.

Reinstall to new boot media (preferably SSD, but USB will do, mirrored USB is better) and upload your config file. If you don't have it backed up, search the forums for how to find it in the .system dataset.

Thanks!

Yestarday had a new FreeNAS version (FreeNAS-11.0-U2). I will install this version and use a "zvol" volume to iSCSI. I was using dataset to my iSCSI volume.
