Just installed 9.2 onto a supermicro 12TB system for the second time.
I messed things up in my first build so rebuilt a fresh install.

Once up, I used the wizard to set up volumes/shares on the second build, I clicked on Storage to look at how things went and I see all of the old shares from the previous build.

So, should I rebuild yet again to be safe? For now, I simply deleted the additional volumes.

Those aren't shares those are datasets. Your pool and all its contents don't get removed when you reinstall the os. To do that you need to wipe the disks, this can be done using the GUI under view disks I think.
