freenas vm question on a dell r710

so i install window 10 as a vm on my freenas server and i notice that the vm was ruining very slow. i'm not sure if it the GPU in the server can not handle window 10 or it something else with the hardware on the server or it something with freenas-11.2-RELEASE. does anybody know why my window 10 vm ruining very slow?

How many CPU cores and how much RAM are you giving the VM?
Also, Win10 works best when you add VirtIO NIC driver, and set the FreeNAS to use VirtIO NIC, not the default Intel.

i have given it around 2 -4 cpu cores and about 4 gb of ram i can give it more if i wont to. i have not try virtlO NIC yet but i will try it out.

There is no passing a GPU to a VM running under FreeNAS.

raid controller: Perc 6i Controller with Battery - all drive a on a raid 0 by them self.

That would be a reason for the system to be slow. That is not a supported hardware configuration.

No hardware RAID controller should ever be used with FreeNAS.
