Errors on HD after updates

I been searching and cant find any answer to this. About 3 updates back from the current one my Alert icon turned red with the below. I have run smartctl on each and dont see anything standing out. I find it hard to believe that 3 hds are going bad at once. I pulled ada4 which is a 4tb WD green drive only a few months old hooked it up to a windows pc and ran WD software test on it and there was no problem put it back in the freenas box error right away. Ideas? Is there a way to clear these? I did do a clean install of freenas to see if it would help since it was having issues hanging after a update.

Ada1 is probably failing since at least a few days (and I'd even say a few weeks).
Ada3 is failing since at least 140 hours ago (about 6 days).
Ada4 is failing since about 160 hours ago (about 7 days).

You can't "clear" these errors on the drives. The only thing you can do is replacing the drives. I'd start with ada1 who is in pretty bad shape... the others can wait a bit for now. If you use RAID-Z1 and you don't have a backup then do a backup ASAP.

NB: the copy-paste has failed for ada3, some info is missing (and of course it's the most important...), can you correct this so we can help better?

Ok here is a redo of ada3. What would cause it I know 2 of the drives are older but for the ada4 that was purchased in Dec to go all of a sudden scares me.

Bad drives happens (and rough shipping too), did you test the drive right at the beginning?

That disk is very questionable. It has only 1 for item 197, but the #4 is freakin' scary. Generally you'd expect drives to have less than 1000, even after years of use. Yours has almost 6000!

ada1 has a pretty high start/stop count too.

Either those are a symptom of the drive failing or you've been starting/stopping the motor in an effort to save power. If it's the latter, you pretty much have your reason for why the disks are failing. Some of them are fairly old too. :P

Ok yeah I never turn these off unless there is a power outage or upgrade. What do you think of the Ada4 thats the one thats really worried me I have no clue what all those codes are. Are WD green drives crap? I bought 2 4 tb when the externals were really cheap pulled one out of the case went to the server and the other to my Arcade cabinet. Why would it show ok in windows and not freenas? Thanks for all the help :)

More likely a problem with the power connector, some bad contact maybe?

With the greens you'll want to use wdidle3 to avoid the LCC problem, but other than that they are pretty good ;)
