Hi!
I have a problem with the fan speed (loudness).
It is a Supermicro X11SPL-F Board, with the Supermicro SNK-P0070APS4 active heatsink cooler.
After booting a fresh installed truenas core, the behaviour is:
FAN1 plug (upper right) the speed ramps up every 10 seconds for some seconds
FAN2 plug (middle right, upper connector) the speed ramps up to full speed and stays there
Any idea, how i can set the fan speed to a normal (noise) level?
I did not find any EFI settings for fan speeds.
And it´s just a Xeon 4208, which is pretty cool and does not require lots of air.
