X9SCM-F, alarm starts beeping after 3minutes of "torture" prime95 test

Hi friends,
I am building a new server using Supermicro X9SCM-F motherboard + Xeon E31270 cpu @ 3.4GHz+ 16GB Kingston ECC memory.
Memtest86+ completed in about 1hour - no errors.

However "Prime95 small FFT" runs for few minutes and then mobo-alarm starts beeping and I stop the test :(
I installed "Intel PWM CPU Heatsink Fan Cooler E97378-001" plugged into FAN2 header. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/284949549587) I put appropriate quant of thermal paste.
If we assume airflow is fine (I have 3 more PWM case-fans in there):

Q1) Do I even need to torture this box with Prime95 given that it will only be used for TrueNAS (along with 1 VM) ?
Q2) If Prime95 is a must-pass test, do you think my Intel Fan Cooler is the culprit ? If so, can you recommend a replacement ?

any other ideas welcome
Thanks a lot

Hi @rvassar @Davvo
Replaced the stock Intel heatsink with Cooler Master for $8
Have been torturing it for 2h (and counting) with Prime95/Mersenne "small fft" - cpu temps flattened around 75C and I am pretty happy.
I think 2hours is enough, don't you think ?
I intend to stop this test and try the "blend" for another 2h.
thanks

It's a way more reasonable temperature for a stress test, considering you will never see that kind of load in real usage.
Follow up with the other tests (memtest and HDD tests).

That sounds much better.

FWIW - My X9SCL has a E3-1240v2 with a generic Intel Core i-Meh cooler of the era, and I idle around 45/C and only see 60/C if I'm doing something abusive like building a new /etc/ssh/moduli for some future cloud exposed VM.
