Best nic for FreeNAS that supports 2.5Gbps

According to Intel it supports 2.5gbps up to 10gbps and it has freebsd drivers, https://ark.intel.com/content/www/u...hernet-converged-network-adapter-x550-t2.html

So will give it a shot and report back.. worst case scenario return to Amazon and try something else ;)

yes, worked out great. Both this one and the Intel brand x550 worked great… I ended up keeping the Intel one.. just because it was Intel… but they worked the same.

Just recieved 2nd link NIC. Just needed to configure ip address in freenas and was able to connect. sadly limited to 100MB.. hopefully the other card comes in lets me go up to full 2.5gb

tried the other card as well. still locked to 100MB. not sure why..
