11.2 Upgrade - NIC Cycles UP and DOWN

Hello All,

I recently upgraded my box (specs below) to the 11.2 train. When that happened, I had a difficult time accessing the unit via the web interface as the NIC link kept on cycling UP and DOWN every few seconds. I did manage the roll-back the version to 11.1U6 and did some digging around.

According to this thread, one bug was solved months ago. User akraut issued a new bug report, but I cannot seem to register for the site to take a peek at this. I'd really hate to be a pain (and hopefully I haven't missed something obvious), but can anyone help with either challenge?

Notes that the referenced ticket is currently hidden as the user's debug is still attached, but the plan is to backport the FreeBSD fix for the em driver.
