TrueNAS after router reboot

Problem: During power outage or internet outage, the router restarts and so does the server (in case of power outage). I have already set it up so that the whole system turns on again once power is back on. However, the issue that I run into is this; because the server and modem/router all restart at the same time, and the server actually loads much faster than the internet comes live, I end up getting a message saying "the web interface could not be accessed". It stays like this even after the router comes on and internet is live again.

What I am doing for now: Since the router is now back on after the power comes back, I simply restart the server alone and since internet is already back in, the server is able to recognize that internet is on and everything loads up just fine. Web interface becomes accessible and all that.

Where the problem lies: Issue is, when I am not home. The area I live in, we get power outage at least once or twice a year. It frequently happens when I am not home and I have no idea how to get the server back on again. Very frustrating.

I did do enough research everywhere on google but no solid answers. There has been some talks about the NIC but I do not believe that to be the issue in my case. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance, people.

Watched a youtube video on how to disable DHCP and it seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you Chris for pointing this out. There is something regarding DNS gateway people are commenting about on the video I watched on Static IP setup. Not sure what DNS gateway on router does. But so far, things are working great.
