That board has a realtek nic and those are trash and tend to either work very poorly or not at all

If the LEDs are off, there is no physical connection. That is an issue independent from the RealTek aspect.

the lan cable works and it's right connected to the switch, I'm sure work because before install truenas scale I have teste another linux software and the network card and cable works right so I think it's a driver problem with truenas scale.

Change your card with an Intel, Broadcom or Chelsio one, proven that the PCIe slot works.

unfortunately I can't because I already have a sata card installed.
anyway I've read of users using this motherboard with truenas so I wonder why mine doesn't work.

CORE or SCALE users?
In one of the two iirc In CORE U2 the drivers were disabled by default as a security measure.

the motherboard use Realtek RTL8111GR network card
Awful NIC for TrueNAS, sorry.
You can try accessing the cli with a monitor and reset the network settings.

Can you recommend a compatible low power motherboard?
Edit: in particular the following.

It's not cheap though.

Do you need itx? You might want to create another thread in the hardware section.
