Could we please get an update on the Scale release disaster?

Scale, a computer program designed to automate data storage. It was supposed to protect us, but that's not what happened. On February 22, 2022, at 22:22:22, Scale woke up. It decided all humanity was a threat to its existence. It used our own drives against us. Three billion people died in the network fire. Survivors called it Judgment Day.

Or, more seriously, perhaps you could tell us WTF you're referring to.

Lol, yea I'm going to need some context here. By all accounts it was our most adopted launch ever in the first 24 hours, and with the most minimal number of issues filed immediately after... So if you have a specific issue, you need to name it so we can discuss..

<noticed> And there's been a much greater degree of developer presence here in the last few months. That hasn't always been the case. Aside from some reports of NFS issues, I'm actually super-impressed at how smoothly the "1.0" has gone. Hat's off to you folks, congratulations, and I hope this takes you to where you need to be. There was some very complimentary reporting by Patrick @ STH that was nice to see, even if I'm a little skeptical about his idea of the Proxmox folks quakin' in their boots. There were more problems with the forum site falling over on release day than true Scale problems as far as I can tell.

I know you guys are a small team, but you're doing an impressive job. Please keep up the good work.

Sure, but first, I'm a noob, so I might be misunderstanding something. I am referring to this error,

m [EFAULT] Unable to downgrade from 22.02.0 to 22.02.RELEASE

FAILED
Is 20.02.0 the final release? I expected it to be 22.02.1. Could you please clue me in about this error?
This was doing the upgrade through the Truenas portal, within Truenas.

This is a cosmetic error. You are running 22.02.0 and that is the correct release version. We're updating the release notes right now to indicate that it can be ignored, and we'll be pushing some updates to our update server in the near future to correct that from showing up. It won't impact any of the operation of your TrueNAS.

Back when Wikipedia was still in its infancy, this reads like something I might have vandalized an article with. (I'd give it a good week or two before it gets reverted.)

Hey, wait a minute. I might still have an account...

No, I've reformed.

Great, thank you for your response. I'd like to thank all you guys for Truenas, and all you do. It is an amazing product. I have had problems configuring Plex on Scale to access my local network. At first, I thought it was a permissions issue but, now I'm confident my issue is in setting up my pools, and zvol. I have been through your docs and forums. Is there anything else you could please point me to for a better understanding of pool configuration?
