While I've been able to get the plugin working and able to successfully download files, I seem to have run into a snag. The mount point I setup to hook into the sabnzbd directory isn't populating with the new files i've downloaded, nor is freenas able to see the existing things that I plopped in there (but windows is).

I'm able to see the new files if I enable the NFS services on win7 and mount the same place, but not the old files. I know it's probably due to the face that the old files have windows permissions, and the new ones are unix permissions, but if I try to copy anything over to the other, I get a message saying that the file is locked by something. Unlocker can't find the locking handle, and it also fails to move files back and forth. The CIFS and NFS share that I setup are pointing to the same location, but seeing different files due to different types of permissions (windows vs UNIX).

Is there a way I can move the files from the cifs share to the nfs share to make everything manageable under one place?

Or, am I able to force the system to switch everything over to nfs permissions to make everything visible under one protocol?

I don't think this has anything to do with these plugins. This is more of a samba issue, that I believe you can solve by specifying a user+uuid for samba to run as.

I am actually considering this. I have also been playing around with nzbToMedia and tolstyak's sickbeard branch which keeps a database of failed downloads. Hopefully mr-orange merges in tolstyak's features and we can get a sickbeard branch that has it all.

I wasn't aware of a TPB edition but I assume the TPB just adds new functionally and doesn't remove support from the official sickbeard code?

Help needed here:

I'm using freenas 8.3.1 x64 on my self-built NAS system ... installed SABNZBD to download via newshosting from usenet.
No I've get the problem that sabnzbd isn't finishing any downloaded nzb-file --> it stops at about 4MB before end?!!

Some suggestions?!

oh sweet i never even seen that version of sickbeard, it sure would be great if sickbeard remembered which downloads failed or had the option to choose a different downloads and all this with the tpb edition, hellls yea... ill be checking back here constantly for these features. thanks joshua for a great set of plugins.

When asked to manually updated it replies there are no new updates to be found, but this is clearly not the case. Before upgrading to the p2 release I was able to do this fine, it is only now after this that I'm having any trouble. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Yes I am. On a side note, this is the only plugin that wont update, SB/HP/LL all updated fine and are current. I tried removing the plugin and installing again but that also did not help

CouchPotato problem on FreeNas 8.3

Hi people!

You are my last hope on a problem that i have with CP on freenas 8.3.. i ask the Ruud the maker from CP and i ask it on the people of CP forum but all dont now the solution so i hope anyone here can help me!

Problem description:

I have a FreeNAS 8.3 running on my system with SaBNZB.. and i also wanna have CouchPotato. But after the installation of CouchPotato can`t CouchPotato find any movie, not on the internal search bar and also not on the little favorite script..

How i install CP:

After that i have already this strange problem...

Next things i trite to solved the problem:
- install the new version of CP.. version 2 so i downloaded the server packed and copy/overwrite it with the one that's on my server.. now its wonderful that the new version is working but still the same problem on finding a movie
- Check the authorizations on the CP map.. for the test i set them all on permissions 777
- Installed fully basic and dont set any options, even the username in password in CP are blanco..

to me it looks like you cannot access the internet from your jail. I would log into your jail and make sure you can ping google.com and then try a wget http://www.imdb.com/images/quiz-sticker.png and see if that works from the command line. if it does not work your problem is internet access and not CP's config

Ping 173.194.67.94 (This is the IP that i get when i do i ping to www.google.com from my desktop PC)
64 byes from 192.168.1.30 icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.019 ms (So this is good)

Ping 192.168.1.30 (IP Address from my Jail)

Maby a problem with DNS?.....

I had make a mistake by fill up the nameserver 1 in the networking config.. set up the correct dns settings and now is oke!! thanks for youre advise Caesar.. you are my hero!! :p :p

The log system tell "Attempt to retrieve artist information from MusicBrainz failed for artistid: 09887aa7-226e-4ecc-9a0c-02d2ae5777e1 (retried 3 times, caused by: HTTP Error 503: Service Unavailable)" anyone tell me one way for solution this?

Just keep trying. Headphones relies on Musicbrainz to get artist info, but the Musicbrainz pulic server is often very overloaded and fails often. If you keep trying, it will eventually work. Alternatively, you can run your own musicbrainz instance.
