SMB shares over zerotier

So I had SMB working over zerotier previously, I am using a static IP to my LAN and then Zerotier is using DHCP
I have gone into services and bound both the local IP and the zerotier one to the smb service however this is no longer working and connections over ZT are being refused but local LAN connections are fine.

I did set it up some time ago and have probably had 1 or 2 freenas updates since and have had to rejoin ZT on the NAS a couple of times (but have given it the same static IP everytime from the ZT control panel)

Is anyone else having / have had similar issues or know any solutions?

Were you able to resolve this? If not, which version of FreeNAS?
Hi, No unfortunately it's still not working I can access the web control panel no problem over ZeroTier

I'm running: FreeNAS-11.2-U6

So super weirdly if from Powershell on the client machine I run:
Test-NetConnection FreeNasZTeirIp -Port 445
It returns true and then smb wakes up over zero tier and it works as it should.

No clue why but at least it's working

So scratch the above it looks to be a bug in FreeNAS where by (I think) if you re-join FreeNAS to a ZeroTeir network (even if you assign it the same IP it had before) you will have to go in and remove the SMB bind and re-add it

so from the screenshot below you would need to uncheck one and save and recheck and save (doesn't seem to matter which one you change just as long as it updates)

Hope this helps anyone who stumbles upon this post
For reference I am on: FreeNAS-11.2-U7
