That's not good either! There's some problem with the GUI. I see you're using Firefox, can you try another browser?
And just on an off chance that it worked regardless of the GUI crashing, can you "View All Volumes" and see if there's anything there?

I dont see any of the volumes.
I am afraid, I have to mount this data using live cd(as quoted by some other people here) and copy out my 4TB of data and do a fresh install. It sucks but looks like only alternative.

If you can mount it with a live CD and save off your data, you should do it. I don't understand why your volumes are not mounting. And you didn't try to restore your beta-1 configuration, right? You installed beta-4 and just tried to auto-import? Gotta ask because when we make assumptions it bites us in the rear.

kicking myself for not saving the config in beta1 before I installed a fresh copy of beta4. Oh well, I will try to get my data out using live CD

I am almost done in getting my data out out of my older system but before I do a fresh install, just a quick question for pro on freenas,
I see 8.0.1 beta 4, but many of the nightly builds in 8 of more recent dates, which one is more complete OS? and which one should I go with?

The nightly builds have fixed/added a lot of stuff and beta 5 should be out any time now. I'd probably download a nightly and upgrade to beta5 when it comes out.
