XenServer SR snapshot

Hi,

If used VMWare snapshot, the state of the VMs are consistent when making the dataset snapshot, is there any way to have the same consistence for XenServer VMs ?
The idea is to replicate the dataset that is configured as XenServer SR to a remote site but having the VMs on a consistent state.
