I am sure there is a post on this but I was not able to find it.
I have a fresh install of FreeNAS on a re-purposed TrueNAS server.
I added one user
I added one Pool and One Dataset.
I shared then made a Windows share of that dataset with the one user as the owner.
I can access that share from a Mac, and from any windows computer that is not joined to our Domain. I am the domain admin in my office and I do not have any strange GPOs and the firewalls are currently disabled.
When I try to open the share from any a windows computer on the domain it acts like I am using the wrong Username or password. I get the password prompt but it does not take what I enter. I tried the \username and .\username in the dialog box but it just will not work.
Any help or link to an article would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Alkyred
