Which RAM is compatible with this board?

I am going to order this Supermicro board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813182851

I see the list of tested RAM on the Supermicro site. However, those sticks seem difficult to find. Does anyone know if there are other options that are known to be 100% compatible with this board?

What is a good place to buy server RAM from? It doesn't seem that all options are available from places like newegg or amazon...

Never done business with them, but try this site and do a part number search
with the listed QVL for your board

Any ideas on which RAM is better between Samsung and Hynix?

The Hynix is significantly more expensive. Is there any reason to spend the extra cash for it?

No, samsung seems to work well for a lot of users.
Just make sure you test the heck out of it (what ever you buy) before committing data to your pool.

until I find something more suitable. I'm really a pretty happy fellow:D
