Hi,
During the first TruNAS setup, i configured 2 SSDs as my boot pool. So why is TrueNAS Storing the system dataset on one of my HDD pool? I didn't configure that and I don't know, if this is supposed to be so.

So can I change the system dataset under system/system dataset to the boot pool (SSD)?

Because that's the default, once you create a data pool. When you create your first data pool, the system moves the .system dataset there. If your boot pool is mirrored SSDs, it should be fine to put it back there--I think the reason for this behavior is that leaving .system on the boot pool kills USB sticks in a hurry.

I have a sata dom and do not want my system dataset on one of my pools. Is there a way to revert back?

Yes. The User Guide covers this and it's an easy change to make.

Don't put the system dataset on a SATADOM - thats a good way to kill the DOM
