What is truenas scale?

Noticed looking at Jira a thing called TrueNAS Scale, what is it?

Poking around Jira, (and I am no expert), I see issues related to TrueNAS, ZFS & Linux. So, my conclusion is that this may be a Linux kernel version of TrueNAS.

RC2 will be dropping any day now, and we anticipate a quick turn-around time on release, possibly 7-10 days after.
