What HBA would you use?

Hi, Haven't used Freenas in a long time. I feel it has gotten much stronger and more features. As such I want to migrate over.

Right now I have a Rackable Systems 16 Bay SE3016.
To control that I am currently using a LSI 8888ELP.
I do remember flashing LSI cards to IT mode in DOS but it was a while ago and I don't think after doing research it is even possible. So my question is, what HBA would work with the SE3016 in JBOD configuration?

I have looked at the IBM ServeRAID M1015 but it doesn't have SFF-8088 port required. Looking at the second link I have tried flashing the card but to no avail.

Can't you get an adapter cable from SFF-8087 to SFF-8088? Otherwise, this card looks like it should do the trick.

I didn't know that thoes kind of adapters existed. Good thought. The card listed in the link may work. I will have to see if it is compatible with the jbod array

It worked. I wanted to state it here for future reference.
The card was a Avago LSI SAS9200-8e and I used a Rackable Systems SE3016.
