"The volume xxxxx state is DEGRADED: One or more devices are faulted in response to persistent errors. Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state."

I may be over my head here.

System Information
Hostname freenas.local Edit
Build FreeNAS-11.1-U1
Platform AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor
Memory 11736MB
System Time Thu, 26 Jul 2018 16:35:12 -0700
Uptime 4:35PM up 54 days, 46 mins, 0 users
Load Average 0.38, 0.24, 0.13

I can't figure out where to look to start solving this problem. I am not a genius tech. I know enough to be dangerous.

Any kindness would be greatly appreciated.

Output of zpool status would be useful.

Paste it here using the [ code ] tags

Well done, you found a way to survive a drive failure without losing data!

Your data was still live and accessible even after losing a drive, most people lose data or have to use a backup copy.

Have Fun

So . . When I took it apart, I found a SATA cable that was intermittent. Problem solved - Thanks everyone!
