So far ok and yes.

We reproduced the lockup on the 12.x. RESET to bring it back online.

Did you set sync=standard before removing SLOG? It shouldn't be necessary from a technical standpoint, it's more to make it easier on things from a performance reason.

Yes in fact we did.

Engineers last night moving a about 300GB of data to another POOL on the Version 12.x unit and it took about 3 hours to copy. SMB protocol this round. The pool it reading from is Z2 and the pool we are copying to is the same POOL as the iSCSI targets.

Today I will create pools on the 11.x system and try again.

I've asked EMC to get a 50TB usable quote together.
