I would love to have a VirtualBOX (server) to run other OS into FreeNAS. Actually, I'm not going to 8 version until VBox has been implemented.
Anyone knows if is that happening?

shouldn't it rather be that freenas runs as a virtual machine within virtualbox?
if that's the case, then it already does...

I too would love to have virtualization server included in FreeNAS. right now i have 2 systems 1 for VM's and one for Storage, combining the 2 would drop my power bill nicely.

there are ports for virtualbox you could setup yourself. you could use Bochs instead, it will run on anything and it can emulate anything. i ran windows 98 on my iPhone with it, slowly, very very slowly. QEMU is also a good option.

It's already exists on 0.7 version, and by the way, it works smoothly.
