I see one glaring problem with the 4U server you linked @Chris Moore it's local pickup only. So you have to arrange for someone to pick it up and ship it. Would be a decent deal for someone willing to drive to Dallas though.

It looks like they ship, but I'm sure I am missing something - I'm no ebay expert by any means.

They must have changed it because earlier today it was saying local pickup only. This is a good change.

Not sure, if you are not logged in it says local pickup only. Once logged in it shows a shipping option. For that cost of shipping I can drive down and back and enjoy a day out of town with the wife.

What was the total $ of all these parts and how much did you spend on the rack chassis? How did the cost actually ballance out?
