Unableto move files from one dataset to anouther.

Hi all,
I'm getting an unusual error trying to move files from one datset to anouther when using a Mac.
The the file browser on OSx gives the following message.

"The Finder can't complete the operation because some of the data in "Elf (2003).mkv" can't be read or written. (Error code -36)"

I can play back the files fine but cant move them.
I I try on a Windows 10 machine they will move, but it takes a very long time.

On the Mac moving files from dataset to dataset is almost instant, however on a Windows it takes a very long time depending on the file size. It appears to actually copy the file rather then just move it (fine of one or two files, but I'm trying to re-organise my storage so if I do this for several terabytes this will take a very long time!)

Any idea whats going on here?

How are they shared?

Copying between datasets involves crossing filesystem boundaries, so SMB server-side copy doesn't work and files need to be copied the old-fashioned way.
