Everytime I reboot TrueNas through the network, the system reboots, but is then unobtainable through the network. I have to press the power button to shut it down, plug an hdmi cable attached to my monitor and then turn it back so it can fully boot, and then swap the hdmi cable back to my computer to login to the UI normally. As long as I dont reboot or shutdown the NAS is fine otherwise. Why does and HDMI need to be plugged in in order for this to boot properly? There is no videocard installed. Im using the on chip video on my i3-10100.

Some BIOSs insist on monitor detection for a successful boot. In your case, you may need an HDMI dummy plug to fake out your BIOS.

You may also be able to find a BIOS setting to skip that check.
