Truenas Scale install fails with json.decoder.JSONDecodeError

I have just tried to install TrueNAS scale for the first time. I am installing inside a Proxmox VM.

I have passed through 3 SSD disks.

Once i have chosen a password for the Administrator account, I get the following error.

I have managed to get past the error by reinstalling and using "Web UI" option for password. I assume there is a bug in the latest version I just downloaded.

Thanks for posting the solution, I thought it was an hardware issue (I did the installation on NVMe disk on a physical machine)

Using WebUI option for password was a correct workaround for me as well

Maybe we should open a ticket somehow?
