Hi,

As the title says, looks like creating a bond interface via GUI is still not working. However, I managed to setup a bond interface using the text console.
It won't take effect until I reboot Scale.

The interface show under Network -> Interfaces in the GUI but not in System Settings -> General -> GUI/Settings -> Web Interface IPV4 Address.

Using the bond interface also not allowing connections to any VMs I start.

@headwhacker I wanted to confirm if you created a jira ticket for bond interface ? That would provide some context as to what the problem was as it's not clear why they were/are not working right now. If you did, can you please let me know ? Otherwise can you please clarify the issue ? Thank you

There is a similar issue with some good advice here. Does this advice solve the issue?

Hi Waqar I just switched to the latest nightlies and I just managed to create the bond interface. Not sure if the difference between the latest nightly build and 21.04 package help or I did something wrong like what is described in the other thread posted by @morganL.

@headwhacker we have had quite some changes merged after 21.04 was released, it's possible one of them targeted the bond issue. If you could let me know the ticket number, we can know for sure. Glad it's working right now for you :)

I have not submitted anything on your Jira yet. I thought of creating this thread first to get feedback in case I am doing something which is not intended or supported. The nightlies appear to be working great. I wiped out my network settings and re-created everything and still looks good.
But if need be I can rollback to the base 21.04 and collect some debug/logs.
