TrueNAS Mini XL+ Accelerator Pack

Is there any info on what SSD TrueNAS installs, if you order it with a with the Accelerator Pack for writes?

Also I assume this is a SLOG SSD?

For read acceleration, my guess would be there is a L2ARC SSD?

I believe recent models are a heavily overprovisioned Micron 5300 PRO 480GB, and yes the "accelerator pack for writes" would be an SLOG.

I can confirm that the 480GB cache drive shipped with my TrueNAS mini XL+ in December 2022 is a Micron 5300. I can't see any sign of over provisioning unless this is vendor over-provisioning by Micron that you are talking about. The full 436TiB or whatever it is, is available to TrueNAS.

If this is a "read cache" drive then overprovisioning would not be expected, as you want a large capacity for reads. For a "log" drive or "accelerator pack for writes" as described by OP, I would expect to see it set to 16GiB.
