TrueNAS CORE -> Nextcloud -> Cloudflare Tunnel Troubleshooting

Thanks again. I changed from HTTP to HTTPS and added my subdomain.domain.com in the spaces under TLS for Origin Name Server and under HTTPS Settings for HTTP Host Header.

I am no longer getting the ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error, but I am getting a 502 error that says the browser is working, cloudflare is working, but there is a Host error.

I did also add my internal IP for filecloud and my subdomain.domain.com to Trusted Domains in config.php for Nextcloud in the Jail.

Any idea what I still may need to change to get this to work?

What is Cloudflare redirecting to? In the tunnel settings?

Which port do you use for it? Is that entered?

This would be if you are using port 8283. If you are using 443 and 80 you can leave it at

I really appreciate your help. In order to limit the back-and-forth, here are screenshots of my truenas jail and my cloudflare tunnel settings.

If you are using a self signed cert (if you installed using the plugin this will be the case) you will need to turn on the option there that says No TLS Verify.

I have the same problem but the "Bad gateway 502" persists with NoTLSVerify turned on.

NextCloud over plugin installed and subnet IP and url in trusted domain. Settings are exactly the same as above.
Certificate is only the self singned from trueNAS on the server.

Any Idea's why?

I suggest deleting the plug-in and installing from the script linked to in my signature.

Plugins are deprecated.

Then we can continue.
