TrueNAS cluster networking topology: dedicated NICs

Hi,

Don't know if this is the right place to ask, as this is actually merging TrueCommand and TrueNAS SCALE, sorry if it's in the wrong place.

I'm planning to deploy a test/homelab cluster of 3 TrueNAS SCALE nodes, managed by a TrueCommand host.

My question is: is there a way, or even a suggestion, to use dedicated NICs and VLANs for cluster (glusterfs) dedicated communication?

I'm asking this because other software, like Proxmox, in the same architecture situation (glusterfs on top of zfs) suggest (and give tools to implement) this kind of network topology, with dedicated NICs on each node:
- NIC/VLAN 1: management (and filesystem access/share)
- NIC/VLAN 2: cluster inter-nodes communication (configs, healthchecks...)
- NIC/VLAN 3: glusterfs communication (managing the glusterfs things, like mirroring, rebuilding, ...)

I'd like to know if I need (and how to implement) those 3 NICs/VLANs so that I can properly plan my implementation.

Thank you very much,
