Hello TrueNAS community!
I am a new user to FreeNAS & TrueNAS, having set up a simple network attached storage server about a year ago along with the MineOS plugin.
Previously, MineOS was setup and working but I recently noticed some strange performance issues after upgrading from FreeNAS to TrueNAS.
Through the course of troubleshooting, I backed up the worlds and uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin (or at least tried to).
Now, I find that I am no longer able to install plugins, getting some very odd behavior when I try - most times it outright fails and sometimes it partially completes and is missing the "Admin Portals" and gets an IP in the "172" range. Ive tried using NAT and DHCP for the Jail but the result is the same.
When it actually does get far enough to present an error, it appears to be network related.
I am able to ping the gateway (192.168.1.1) and DNS servers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) as well as 'google.com' without any issue.
I suspect there is something wrong with what repository trying to be used or some network setting that Im not aware of.
The server and file shares can be accessed without issue, so I fully suspect this is something I am doing wrong.
As I have been researching/fighting with this for a few weeks unsuccessfully - I figured it was time to consult those far wiser and more familiar with this than myself.
Version: TrueNAS-12.0-U6
Motherboard: Intel S5500BC Server Motherboard Socket LGA1366 With BP
CPU: 2x Intel Xeon E5640 @ 2.67ghz
RAM: 32gb ECC
Disk(s):
1) OS installed on NVME in SATA 3 enclosure
2) Storage array on 5x Hitachi HUA723020ALA640 7200rpm 2TB hard drives
NIC: single built in 1000baseT (em0)
