Hi,
to start off I have looked around and can’t seem to find a definitive answer. So I noticed that my Nextcloud jail could not be accessed. Just got a can’t open this page error.
I checked that all my jails are up and running and even restarted them. Tried to update one Nextcloud and got a really long error to do with GitHub, and it ended on can not resolve host GitHub.com.

This appears to be on all my jails when I try to update them so I’m guessing its to do with truenas not having internet access? Has anyone came across a similar issue? I rebooted my server then tried to ping google.ie from the shell, That was successful, Tried to update one of my jails and got the same error, went into shell again and tried to ping but it just sits there and comes back with ping unknown host

I think its only started since I upgraded to TrueNAS-13.0-U3
Thanks

So first of all check network.. dns, default gateway tec. Do you have access to github.com from CLI?

Just keeps getting worse. Restarted again and using Shell I pinged the gateway.. Got like 10 reply’s then it just stops. Checking for updates doesn’t show any updates or give you the message that no updates available. Just has the standard check for updates daily message and current train underneath. No mention of the version its on. Logging into my TrueNas Scale server I can ping the core one continuous without any drops. Nothing has changed in the network settings and I have DNS and Gateway configured as I always did. See screenshot

After a restart I can ping GitHub.com from the CLI but it reply’s for about 10 times then just stops. Doesn’t come back with a fail it just freezes. I’ve checked everything on my network, even moved it over to another Vlan but still the same.

if google pings are fine, it might be a special restriction on github?

Bridge interface for the jail statically created? Hardware offloading disabled for the physical interface?

I’ll have a look at that and see. The whole issue is that this was working as is for a long time. The ip set for the jails are static and reserved on my Unifi network. Hardware offloading I’ll need to double check
