Please post screenshot of Network>Global Configuration
Like in the gui of the true nas computer itself?

I'll try resetting the router to defaults and see if that works, sorry I'm a busy man, I should be able to try by Saturday.

Im using a
-microtik hex s gigabit router
-Qnap qsw-308-1C10Gbe Switch

Alright so I reset the router to defaults and the nas configuration it's still not working, tried to connect on 4 different computers.

A theory, I'm using a amd 3200g cpu which has 20 pcie lanes but 16 of them are in use for the onboard graphics leaving only 4 pcie lanes, however perhaps the 10GB PCI-E Intel network card x520 requires 8 pcie lanes to function rendering it useless. Which might be why I couldn't get the other mobo and cpu to work properly.

PC Specs:
MOBO: ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3200g
RAM: OLOy DDR4 RAM 16GB (2x8GB) 3000 MHz
Power Supply: EVGA 500 BA, 80+ BRONZE 500W
Hard Drive: Inland Professional SSD 128GB
Network Card: Intel 10GB PCI-E x520

I plan on raiding several ssds but havn't got to that yet cause I can't even get fricken free nas to work, I'm about to just install windows on this dang thing and share a folder.

Here's some screen shots of what I'm doing in the console (I can't get to the global configuration in the gui because I can't connect to my nas) and the router default configuration screenshot.

Three computers are plugged into my qnap Switch with ethernet cables, my NAS and one computer are plugged into my qnap switch with sfp cables.

My setup Modem => MikroTik RouterBoard => Qnap Switch => (Everything that uses internet plugged into Switch)

I tried just connected one computer and my NAS directly to the MikroTik RouterBoard, still won't work.

Below are pictures of my ifconfig and me pinging the nas with my computer.

Marking this as solved, somehow I got a second Chinese knock off Intel nic, bought a chelsio 520 put it in and it displayed the ip and I could easily connect.

So much pulling my hair out over this, trying everything lol
