Stopping Badblocks? TMUX Error

Newbie here, I was attempting to test a replacement for 4TB WD Red HD that is showing bad sectors, while I was at it I started the non-destructive read test on 3 other hard disks.

I used SSH and logged in but I made a mistake and entered Cntrl-b" instead of Cntrl-B" when I started Badblocks instance 2, 3, and 4...

So I had four instances running, and wanted to stop them, but can only stop the last one.

Any suggestions on how to proceed and or stop these?

Can I reboot and not do any damage? Anything else I should know?

Since I could not find any solutions on-line, here or on other forums: I went ahead and rebooted, which did not appear to hurt anything.

Since I had run one pass (not the normal 4 passes) the day before which stopped on the second pass with no identifiable reason, I went ahead and replaced the failing drive, which generated the following (pasted below) during the resilver process.

Now in reading that manual, I am left at a loss of what to next to remove the failed drive and use the replacement drive.

Since it shows multiple items (see attached file) and not sure which to take off-line. But then again, when I looked yesterday iI missed where it waid to take the first disk off-line (but this was a striped array, not Zx.) SO now I am not certain which I should "Remove" I replaced ADA1 with ADA4...Now I shows "ADA1p2" and "replacing2" Should I remove both of those?

As to the items below, I think they have to do with the failing drive, which when I started said it had one file (with data corruption,) and then when completed came back and said I had 6 files with problems (each different from the initial file reported.) I have gotten emails referring to s SMART failure count going to 13 and the checksum reports 12 problems...

If it's a stripe, you have no redundancy and have lost that data.

If that is the case, why not reformat with the known good drives into a pool that provides redundancy?
