Info.
Samsung Magician Secure Erase is only supported vie Windows and only works on Samsung products. Magician Erase resets the flash to a neutral state, as it comes from the factory.
The SSD must not be encrypted and Rapid Mode must be disabled. In the GUI, click the Secure Erase and follow the prompts to create a bootable USB stick.
When you boot to the USB stick, you will see a window with garbled text, result of a missing font.
press the escape key.
In the CMD windows that opens, type sequi0 /c and press enter, (that's a zero not an o, and a space before /c)
Follow the prompts, including disconnecting the power plug to the SSD and reconnecting it, (done without turning of the computer, taking anti static measures and not sticking your fingers into fans)
When the monitor comes back on, type segui0,exe press enter (zero not o)
After completion, you have a virgin SSD.
