Spindown with HBA cards?

I'm new to FreeNAS, and I am trying to get spin down to work on the drives in my system, but no luck so far.

I'm using the SuperMicro x8sil-f board with two Intel Br10i cards flashed to IT mode (=LSI SAS1068e).

To these I have 14 WD20EARS in a RAID2Z configuration.

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to set these up so that they're not running 24/7?

So if I'm correct; no spin down on my LSI 9211-8i from the GUI ?

From the GUI, no. But if you install the script, it will work ;)
